If your sleep is disrupted by frequent waking, or you are suffering from poor quality sleep, you can often wake up feeling unrefreshed. Over a period of time, this can lead to brain fog, lack of focus, difficulty with working or making decisions. You fatigue easily after simple tasks and your quality of life can be adversely affected.
When fatigue starts, other ill health tends to develop, such as anxiety, depression, headaches, migraines, digestive disorders, immune system disfunction etc…  We need to restore the body’s vitality to give it the best chance to heal and operate optimally.
With simple lifestyle & diet  adjustments and the help of herbs we can restore your energy and vitality levels leading your body on a journey towards  better health & wellbeing.
When your nervous system is run down, you are more likely to experience depression and anxiety. When you get stressed, your nervous system responds by releasing the hormones cortisol and adrenaline into the bloodstream. This is known as the “fight or flight” response and causes certain changes within the body that enable you to deal with stress. Some body systems like digestive and reproductive organs slow down as they are not deemed essential in stressful situations. By contrast, your heart and muscular system ramp up as they prepare to deal with the stress. Stress can also increase the production of stomach acid, stimulate your liver to release more sugar (glucose) into the bloodstream and tense up muscles.
When your sympathetic nervous system is overworked, the adrenal glands eventually become exhausted, which can lead to low levels of cortisol and DHEA. Ongoing or chronic stress is unhealthy and has a very negative effect on your body. Long term stress can lead to insomnia and sleep issues, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, headaches and migraines, low mood, anxiety & depression, low libido, hormone disequilibrium (irregular periods, fertility issues, erectile dysfunction), high blood pressure & higher risk of heart disease, digestive issues (reflux, heartburn, IBS, stomach ulcers) and a weakened immune system making you more vulnerable to viruses and bacteria.
There are many ways you can relieve stress naturally through diet and lifestyle, nutrition and herbal medicine.
Having the energy and vitality to enjoy our lives to the full, without being hampered by fatigue and excessive tiredness, is so important. When the root causes of our tiredness, burnout and stress are corrected, things improve and resolve with relative ease.

Long-term stress can cause havoc in the body and lead to many health complications, from headaches and low mood to infertility and a compromised immune system.
