This depends very much on what the root cause of your health issue is. However, if it is a food intolerance or nutrient deficiency these can be identified and corrected in a relative short period of time. If it is a longer term issue, you should start seeing an improvement after about 5 days of taking herbal remedies and/or making the right changes to your diet/ supplements. When we are discussing your treatment plan at the end of your first consultation, we will talk about the best approach for your particular needs and what the necessary steps are to reach your health goals. We put in place a systematic approach which means you will notice progress at each stage.

We specialise in finding the root cause of all your health issues and give you the support you need to achieve your health goals. From the initial consultation, follow-up appointments can be arranged to meet your individual needs. Depending on your presenting symptoms and the personalised naturopathic treatment plan we decide, we might decide to meet every 4 to 6 weeks or finish a detox protocol first before starting a new phase of treatment for example. In between consultations, we are always reachable by email so do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions. We are here to give you the best personalised, result orientated care to reach your health goals.

During your consultation, you will be asked a lot of different questions about your health history, your family history, your presenting symptoms but also all your different body systems. That enables us to build a global picture of how your body works and where the imbalances are. We conduct a thorough investigation and may use some diagnostic tools such as tongue reading, Ayurvedic pulse taking or iridology to find out more about your constitution and the root cause of your symptoms. Sometimes some tests may be required to help us identify the best treatment protocol or course of action.  If we think that it would be in your best interest to get further tests done, we will discuss it with you. We work with a few different laboratories and can advise you on what they offer and what you will get.
We don’t tend to ask for tests prior to your appointment but if you had any tests (blood tests, hair analysis, stool test, allergy tests, breath tests, hormonal investigations, etc) done in the previous months that you would like to share with us, we will be happy to review these with you. It is always better for us to have as much information as possible to be able to guide you in the best way, nonetheless we are always mindful of the price of such tests and will not encourage you towards them  unnecessarily.

Absolutely and it is a very safe way of looking after your children’s health. The herbs chosen for the prescriptions will be different than for an adult or a young teenager, as well as the amount prescribed and possibly the mode of administration. Your naturopathic herbalist will explain you all this in details and help you every step of the way.

This initial complementary call is an introductory presentation where we discuss briefs details of your health concern and if naturopathic medicine is the right approach for you. It usually lasts for 15 minutes and if we are both happy to go ahead, a full initial consultation will be booked in.

Please bring with you a list of any medication or supplements you are currently taking and if you had any medical tests done, it would be very useful to see a copy of those as well.
