Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you. By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.  We only use information that may identify you in accordance with GDPR. This requires us to process personal data only if there is a legitimate basis for doing so and that any processing must be fair and lawful.

Within the health sector, we also have to follow the common law of duty of confidence, which means that where identifiable information about you has been given in confidence, it should be treated as confidential and only shared for the purpose of providing direct healthcare. We will protect your information, inform you of how your information will be used, and allow you to decide if and how your information can be shared.

We also ensure the information we hold is kept in secure locations, restrict access to information to authorised personnel only. We ensure external data processors that support us are legally and contractually bound to operate and prove security arrangements are in place where data that could or does identify a person are processed.  All records held by NL-Naturopathy will be kept for the duration specified by guidance from our professional association AMH.

Type of Data collected

Personal data : while using our service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. They may include, but is not limited to: email address, first name and last name, phone number, full address and postcode.

Forms

We do use electronic forms on our website making use of an available ‘forms module’ which has a number of built-in features to help ensure privacy. We also aim to secure forms where appropriate.

Payments

We do not store customer credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

We may also collect information on how the website is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Our professional association: AMH, for the processing of a complaint made by you; any contractors and advisors that provide a service to us or act as our agents on the understanding that they keep the information confidential ; anyone to whom we may transfer our rights and duties under any agreement we have with you ; any legal or crime prevention agencies and/or to satisfy any regulatory request.

We will seek your express consent before sharing your information with your GP or other healthcare providers.

Third-party sites

The website may contain links to other websites operated by third parties. Please note that this privacy policy applies only to the personal information that North London Naturopathy collects through its website and cannot be held responsible for personal information that third parties may collect, store and use through their website. You should always read the privacy policy of each website you visit carefully.

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to computers located outside of your country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ. If you are located outside United Kingdom and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United Kingdom and process it there. Please be aware that countries which are outside the European Economic Area may not offer the same level of data protection as the United Kingdom, although the collection, storage and use of your personal data will continue to be governed by this privacy policy.

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your rights

Every individual has the right to see, amend, delete or have a copy of any data held that can identify you, with some exceptions. You do not need to give a reason to see your data.

If you would like to access your data, you must make a subject access request in writing to info@nl-Naturopathy.com. Under special circumstances, some information may be withheld. We shall respond within 20 working days from the point of receiving the request and all necessary information from you.
